Tarrant County Warrant Records Tarrant County Warrant Records

Tarrant County warrant records are held by separate offices. The Sheriff's Warrant Division serves criminal warrants, but it does not release those details to the general public. Municipal and JP courts handle citation and missed-appearance matters filed in their systems. The District Clerk's public search covers executed probable-cause and search-warrant documents, and public-information requests go to the office that holds the requested item. Custody and bond-processing questions belong with the Jail Bond Desk. Official status and resolution steps must come from the court or agency that controls the case.

This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear a warrant, post bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice. Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office does not release criminal warrant information to the general public; use the authorized channel described by the Sheriff or consult a licensed bondsman or attorney.

Need Official Warrant Information?

Route a request by record type. Tarrant County agencies maintain separate criminal, court, citation, and public-record systems:

  • Criminal warrant information: the Sheriff’s Warrant Division serves warrants but restricts criminal-warrant details from general public disclosure. The division lists 817-884-1289 at 200 Taylor Street, 6th Floor, Fort Worth, TX 76196; call to confirm the correct authorized route.
  • A missed court date or citation: contact the municipal or justice court that set the case. Tarrant County has eight JP precincts, and the citation identifies the court to contact.
  • Executed district-court warrant documents: use the District Clerk’s public document search. It covers executed files and is not an unserved criminal-warrant lookup.
  • Public records request: submit an identifiable request through Tarrant County’s JustFOIA portal or contact the records office that holds the item. A request may be subject to exceptions and fees.
  • Custody or bond processing: the 24-hour Jail Bond Desk is at 100 N. Lamar Street, Fort Worth, and can be reached at 817-884-3000. The bond desk does not replace the issuing court for a warrant decision.

For county records questions, the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office Records Division publishes records-request instructions and accepts requests through the county’s public-information process. The Criminal Warrants Division’s phone and office address above are for routing; they do not mean criminal warrant status is publicly disclosed.
